Qualified Teaching Assistant - St Helens

Do you hold a Level 2 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent? Are you confident in teaching literacy and numeracy to KS2 pupils? Do you work well independently and as part of a team?

The school is seeking to appoint a strong, experienced KS2 TA / Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support children in their development.

What you need to apply:
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable adults in the past 2 years (Volunteer/placements welcome)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to complete this
  • A good knowledge of the National Curriculum or being confident in supporting particular subjects is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)
  • Minimum of 2 days availability 08:30-15:30 Mon-Fri
