Prestige Recruitment are seeking a 2nd line IT Support Technician to maintain and support the IT systems within the business, minimising downtime and providing 2nd line IT Support across the business to all our client's members.

The successful candidate must be able to drive / own a vehicle, be able to quickly and efficiently identify and deal with IT related issues that may appear during the average workday of the company and be able to maintain patience and professionalism for each person they communicate with during the support process.

Key Duties

Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team
Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider businessSkills

Competent in the use and purpose of technology with strong IT skills in Microsoft office, learner management systems and Virtual learning environments
Planning and organising
Experience of leading and coordinating the delivery of operational work packages/projects
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills
Troubleshooting and supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products, desktop and laptop hardware
Sound understanding of operating system security principles
Must be able to drive / own a vehicleExperience

Previous experience would be a considerable advantage
Good understanding of IT securityBehaviours

Respond to employees request efficiently and within a timely mannerJob Types: Contract - 6 Months with the potential of this being extended to permanent for the right candidate

Salary: £11.52/hour


GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


IT Support: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
