Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Design Quality Manager to lead a team of 4 engineers who ensure the design quality of new products and a culture of cross-functional working. The team currently focus on hardware quality design but will also grow to include the design quality of software. This group also works closely with teams across Europe and Singapore so there is genuine opportunity to have a wider remit and coverage over time.

Responsibilities

Leading the Design Quality Engineering department toward assuring new products meet customer expectations and goals.
Developing the members of the team by providing coaching, training, and opportunities in the areas of quality planning, product analysis, risk management, software quality engineering, supplier quality and related disciplines.
Maintaining effective working relationships with R&D, Operations Quality, Scientific Ops, Service, and other functions participating in product development.
A key role in process improvement by providing expert knowledge of regulations, standards, and industry wide best practices.

Required Skills

A Degree (BSc) in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or relevant commercial experience.
Solid experience in new product development and the product lifecycle.
Experience in the application of design controls and risk management including requirements management, design reviews, design verification, design validation and design transfer.
Experience in ISO Requirements and process improvement
Advanced understanding of quality management systems and DFSS tools.
Ability to collaborate with other design centres in establishing system level requirements and interface documents.For immediate consideration please forward your most up to date CV
