This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to head up the team dedicated to installing domestic and commercial solar systems. Trading for over 20 years within the PVE market and providing commercial and domestic installations throughout the UK.

In this role you will be required to support the internal team as well as manage field activities including contractors and overseeing all installations. You will be providing a technical support to our customers as well as taking the lead in driving new opportunities within the PVE market.

Main Duties and Tasks
  • Manage all offsite contractors including scaffolding and installation teams
  • Complete site surveys
  • To provide quotations to customers using dedicated software- full training provided
  • Delivery of quoted project margins
  • Procuring products ensuring timely delivery to site for all installations
  • Servicing and sign off of installations completed
  • Manage customer relationships before, during and after solar system installations
  • Provide ongoing technical support for all solar technology products and services
  • Manage the invoicing process with the internal sales team
  • Develop competency in the technical and practical elements of solar panel systems (training will be given)
  • Handling of RAMS documents and liaising with DNO

  • Ability to form strong and positive relationships with customers
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Disciplined, methodical and problem-solving approach
  • Good IT and numeracy skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Experience and qualifications
  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations
  • Ideally qualified in PV installations
  • Previous experience dealing with household electrical mains supply
  • Ideally MCS certified
  • Previous experience managing contractors preferrable
