The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality Manager to join one of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations based in Nuneaton.
The position will touch all parts of the business and is a very 'hands on; role, which would involve 'rolling your sleeves up' on the shop floor occasionally.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality Manager to join one of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations based in Nuneaton.
The position will touch all parts of the business and is a very 'hands on; role, which would involve 'rolling your sleeves up' on the shop floor occasionally.
- Lead a team of Quality professionals throughout quality assistance and quality control and audit functions
- Be first point of contact for all OEM and internal customer concerns
- Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereafter
- To manage the internal and external audit programme, including preparation and completion
- of audits to AS9100 and NADCAP and customer specific requirements. Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processes
- Identify area for quality improvements
- Utilisation of six sigma/ lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site quality
- Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure
- To work within cross functional teams to support business development, growth and improvement projects as required
The Candidate
- 5+ years of experience within Aerospace
- Excellent knowledge of quality systems management and implementation with particular focus on AS9100
- Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding OEM customers
- Experience within a Quality Manager role
- Have experience communicating with Customers
- Experience with FAIRS
- Demonstrate leadership ability to coach and build self confidence in team
- Experience in a manufacturing, machine shop environment
