Job Title: IT Service Desk Analyst
Pay: Between £9.62 - £11.70ph depending on experience.
Contract: Temporary to Permanent.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
I am currently recruiting for an IT Service Desk Analyst based in Newcastle for one of the biggest Facilities Management companies in the country. The role offers potential for Hybrid working for the successful candidate who demonstrates their willingness and skills. This role is a Temporary to Permanent contract to start immediately.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
You will diagnose, respond and resolve Incidents/Service requests recieved via inbound calls or logged tickets in a timely fashion to meet KPI's.
You will utilise diagnostic utilities to aid with troubleshooting to achieve first time resolution. Including but not limited to User logon issues, Microsoft O365, Network and remote connectivity issues, end user computing hardware and software issues.
You will be assessing the criticality of each situation by being proactive and asking for detailed information to help assess urgency and impact.
You will be contributing to Information Security by assisting in the preservation of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, including but not limited to adhering to and supporting Information Security standards, procedures and policies and identifying and raising security incidents as required to the Information Security Team.
You will undertake any other reasonable requests.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of basic computer hardware
Experience of desktop operating systems, including Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and a broad understanding of IT related permissions.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Qualification in the field of Information Technology and / or equivalent work experience
