We have a new position for an Account Manager to join our highly successful client on a consultancy basis, a company specialising in home textiles out of India and the Far East.

The Account Manager must be keen on business development, using their connections within the industry to open accounts for this company and then develop long-standing relationships and business.

Other duties of the Account Manager include:
  • Arranging and leading meetings with the Buyers, obtaining briefs and presenting samples
  • Developing high quality ranges for the specific customers, in response to the customer requirements and trend forecasts
  • Sourcing new products
  • Negotiating costings with the factories
  • Working with the portfolio of factories, ensuring smooth production
  • Working with colleagues in the London based office, updating them on sales and reports

This is a working from home position but the Account Manager will be required to attend customer meetings and visit the office in London as and when required.

The Account Manager will be working on a self-employed basis, earning a monthly retainer and the ideal candidate can have a level of flexibility with number of days per week.
