Partner Financial are working with a listed technology business. The Group is ideally positioned to continue to expand by acquisition and as a result of the substantial investments made into the technology of the product and services that the business provides. Operating in over 90 countries, their strategy positions the brand at the forefront of its market and main competitors.

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, you will be in charge of communicating, consolidating and analysing financial information relating to the Group, while providing a key interface for the record to report process, including asset accounting, inter-company and intragroup and financial close process.

Key responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, assuring they are timely and accurately delivered
  • Supporting the Group Reporting Manager consolidating the Group financial results
  • Performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers on emerging technical accounting issues
  • Preparing and reviewing FRS 101 and FRS 102 statutory accounts for the Group's subsidiaries
  • Providing financial reporting close instructions and expert guidance on data and disclosure requirements to the outsource functions
  • Supporting the Group Management with technical accounting advice, on areas of complexity and new business activities
  • Developing a robust understanding of the financial aspects of the business to promote and implement control mechanisms
  • Working closely with the Group Reporting Manager to maintain and update accounting policies to ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP

The ideal candidate:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA) from a top 4 practice
  • Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
  • A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement and are capable of working independently
  • Extensive understanding of accounting principles and strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
