Finance Assistant (Entry Level)
Salary - £20,000- £26,000 (based on experience)
Hours -Mon-Friday
Permanent, Full-Time
HYBRID working - 3 Days at home, 2 days in the office
Job Role
My client is a leading and expanding Insurance Group that is seeking an entry-level Finance Assistant to join their friendly and growing team in Bessels Green.
The main responsibilities of the role would be to work with the team members to assist with processing the purchase ledger, of more than 400 invoices per month as well as complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will be interested in pursuing a career in Finance, have excellent organisational and time management skills, a high level of accuracy, great attention to detail, and a team ethic!
Responsibilities
Working as part of a team to process the Purchase Ledger
Processing Payments
Bank reconciliation
Supplier statement reconciliation
Accurate and efficient data entry using correct nominals and departments
Processing payment runs using NatWest Bankline
Communication with the business partners to maintain Supplier relationships
Call handling
Assisting with training to cross-train over other ledgers Skills required
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritise and organise workload
Practical knowledge of accounting systems (desirable)
Intermediate Excel or a willingness to learn!The Company: -
