Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join a successful & prestigious business based in Bradford on a full time permanent basis!
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced individual to join a successful business to provide extensive support across the busy finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of management accounts and supporting with finance (purchase and sales ledger).
These will include (but will not be limited to):
1.Control of the purchase and sales ledgers, including the reconciliation of supplier accounts and generating payment runs
2.Raising sales exchange invoices 3.Chasing customer debts and other credit control duties 4.Weekly bank reconciliations 5.Posting journals 6.Check and process credit cards and branch petty cash 7.Dealing with queries 8.Assisting with the production of the year end audit pack 9.Assisting with monthly management accounts production 10.Assisting with VAT reporting 11.Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations 12.Take responsibility for training the finance apprentice 13.Preparation of weekly KPI/Stats reporting 14.To perform any other duties which from time to time may be required to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Previous experience working in accounts - Experience working with finance and accounts preparation - Strong team player - Keen to work in a team environment
