I'm looking for a SEO & Paid Media Manager who has a strong skillset in SEO & Paid media. As the SEM Manager, you will join an established marketing team that offers long term growth and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities
  • Accountable for paid advertising and organic performance for core branded ecommerce websites and marketplace channels.
  • Develop paid and organic channel strategies in line with short term & long term ecommerce objectives
  • Manage and work directly with both paid media and organic marketing agencies, coordinating and prioritizing workloads accordingly.
  • Develop paid and organic content communication plans - aligning with content strategy, keyword research, promotions, brand campaigns and seasonal opportunities & activity
  • Develop paid creative asset briefs for key ad platforms, overseeing and feeding back on asset development, working directly with the Meyer creative team or agency
  • Research and identify keyword, content & backlink program opportunities
  • Develop paid search A/B test plans
  • Manage a paid & organic marketing budget in excess of £1m
  • Keep up to date of channel evolution & industry changes to ensure we can pivot strategies & tactics when needed
  • Analyze and report to key stakeholders on-going paid and organic performance, leveraging insight to make proactive decisions.
  • Work with & support our affiliate & PR agencies when SEO opportunities arise via this channels planned activity

Key Skills
  • Solid experience managing SEO & paid marketing channels - Internal or agency role.
  • Excellent understanding of paid search tools - Google ad words, Microsoft advertising and social advertising platforms
  • Good understanding of SEO principles - Keyword research & analysis, backlinking analysis, website & marketplace audits and competitor analysis.
  • Experience with key marketing software and tools - SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Data Studio.
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience managing & communicating with marketing agencies
  • Experience managing large budgets
  • Analytical and data driven with a proven ability to track, interpret and report on insight
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to delivery work to a high standard
  • Driven with a "can do" attitude with an ability to work both collaboratively within a team and autonomously

Desirable Skills (not essential)
  • Experience with paid & organic marketplace marketing - AMS, Channel Advisor, Helium 10
  • EMEA paid & organic marketing experience
  • Use of project & task management tools - Asana, Trello, Jira etc.
