Our client are looking to expand their Digital Marketing Team with the addition of an experienced E-commerce professional.

This role will sit alongside the Creative Team and work closely with our marketing and website Agencies.

The Opportunity:The role will be varied and very hands on and the successful candidate will be required to help build both brand and deliver success in sales and marketing by optimising opportunities across all digital channels. The candidate will work alongside the Creative Team, ensuring content and upgrades are facilitated by liaising with our external agencies, across all levels of the organisation.

The Role:
  • Email programme covering customer communications, prospecting, welcome and customer retention
  • Working alongside Content and Creative teams on our websites and social media channels to ensure our digital offering is optimised
  • Review of customer and user journeys to optimise conversion and provide excellent customer service
  • Recommend and implement website development test and learn projects to increase customer satisfaction and life cycle management
  • Day to day management of our marketing agencies which are website development, digital marketing (PPC and SEO) and social channels
  • Product maintenance on in-house systems and both websites
  • Product copy writing to brand guidelines alongside the Creative Team.
  • Content production. Imagery/photography/video and upload to websites and any supporting channels
  • Category management and product sequencing and positioning online to maximise the UX.
  • Delivery and management of content across all of our marketing agencies ensuring all are kept up to date and responding to requests.

Candidate Requirements:

The candidate should be a highly motivated, creative person with an acute attention to detail and an interest in current social media trends and platforms.Whilst a supported role, the candidate will need to be able to manage their own workloads and timescales and react well to pressure. The potential to grow this role within the business is a huge opportunity for the right candidate.

The ability to work in fast paced environment is essential. Good organisational skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with other departments and across the business as a whole.

A working knowledge of website platforms such as Shopify and Magento, together with experience using Google Analytics is essential. A strong understanding of SEO techniques and a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS would also be helpful.
