I am looking for a tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 10 student in the Bury Saint Edmunds area (IP28). The student is Looked After and resides in a residential home, however she does not present with any challenging behaviour or learning difficulties.

The tuition will preferably take place within the local community, for 10 hours per week (5x2 hour sessions, Mon- Fri) with the possibility to increase.

This role is due to start as soon as possible.

Subjects to be covered are GCSE Maths and English.

For this role, you will be required to:

Plan and deliver your own engaging lesson plans covering GCSE Maths and English
Work well carers / residential staff
Provide daily feedback and attendance
Report all safeguarding concerns where required
Work collaboratively with Teaching Personnel, LAC officers, Social Workers and other professional involved with this young person
