WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG's IT strategy is a multi-year transformation effort towards becoming a "best-in-class" IT function. The IT Transformation & tech strategy is responsible for realizing a suite of organization-defining benefits -- examples of high-priority initiatives include:

As a member of the IT Strategy team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the benefits of our Technology strategy & transformation. The IT Strategy Program Senior Manager role is responsible for providing transparency for senior leadership and supporting the organization of resources and decisions across initiatives to ensure effective coordination and prioritization of critical tasks. In this role you will partner with the IT leadership team and owners of strategic initiatives to prioritize, resolve risks & dependencies, track and communicate progress and ensure realization of the benefits of our strategy.
As the IT Strategy Program Manager you will work closely with cross-functional team and:
  • Enable the IT strategy team to ensure the execution of the Transformation program by ensuring clear ownership, measurable outcomes and defined timing for each initiative
  • Capture initiative roadmaps and timing for value delivery driving accountability and coordination
  • Resolve issues and escalate risks and interdependencies across IT's strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of their benefits
  • Set up, socialize, and update transformation metrics and dashboards at the appropriate level, providing transparency of execution progress and value realization across the transformation
  • Provide support for priority initiatives, including communications, analytics and research
  • Assist in enabling transformation efforts through appropriate tools to manage operations and progress of strategic efforts
  • Activate IT Executive Communications, acting as liaison between the function and the initiatives to provide transparency across priorities and enable initiative's teams to execute on transformation efforts
  • Optimize and execute the IT Strategy team's operating model, setting up and enabling the appropriate governance mechanisms and touchpoints for executive alignment
  • Enable IT senior engagement touchpoints (e.g. ITLT and WWIT Director meetings), activate IT leadership and support the CIO to resolve interdependencies and conflicts across IT, prioritize executive time and facilitate decision making
YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Managing day-to-day activities, projects and senior meetings in a highly dynamic environment across concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
  • Working as a team, building consensus and influencing IT leaders and other stakeholders to effectively enact change
  • Planning ahead and drafting proposals to drive organization-wide IT performance by enabling the appropriate touchpoints and supporting IT teams to provide transparency across priorities, progress and path forward
  • Facilitating alignment between multiple areas of expertise - such as IT Executive Communications, IT Operations, Cyber Security and others - by:
    • Absorbing and synthesizing input from different stakeholders
    • Translating senior input into tangible action items
    • "Connecting the dots" and clearly communicating how actions within specific workstreams measurably impact overall product and business outcomes
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Proven project management leadership skills, ideally in a global professional services firm
  • Experience in defining, setting up and streamlining operating model for a cross-functional team in a highly dynamic environment
  • Experience in influencing and presenting to senior business and IT stakeholders
  • Highly organized and proactive approach to managing work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Master's degree or similar education
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work with BCG's IT Leadership, the IT Strategy Lead, the Office of the CIO and other partners to drive the IT Transformation forward, supporting and enabling a partnership with the ITLT to prioritize, resolve risks & dependencies, track progress, and ensure realization of the benefits of our strategy.
