Pastoral Officer / Behaviour Support Team

We are specifically working with a specialist school in Bury, who are anticipating the need for talented, skilled graduates, to support their existing work force, after the half-term break. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, these opportunities are for you. Our school caters for a broad catchment area in Bury and has a solid track record of improving outcomes.

This position is to support the Heads of Year during a historically busy time in the school calender - exam period always causes tension and they anticipate this year will be no different! You will be providing support to students who may need that "little extra" in order to keep engaged and focussed.

This role is to start ASAP so it is essential you have experience of supporting young people in a pastoral sense, preferably in a school/college/education setting.

Full time/part time - Part time and full time roles - depending on demand
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90/day
Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree educated with a good classification
OR a recognised TA qualification
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
