Role: PPA teacher/HLTA (full time)

Start date: May half term (until July)
Flourish Education is currently with a 'Good' school in the Oldbury area. The school places great emphasis and time on developing the children's skills and attributes. Set in large, open grounds, the school has a lovely atmosphere and a very welcoming feeling. Classroom learning is coupled with outdoor learning opportunities within the main school. School sets high expectations for behaviour and is seeking a full-time member of staff to join the teaching team for the Summer 2 term - from May half term until July.
The ideal PPA teacher or HLTA would be someone who has previous experience working across multiple years groups within the Key Stage Two age range. Working 5 days per week, the PPA teacher or HLTA would be expected to deliver lessons within Key Stage Two classes but may also be needed for Key Stage One cover on an ad hoc basis. Due to this, flexibility and experience across a wide range of Primary classes would be essential. The ability to form relationships with pupils and develop strong rapport will be required. The PPA teacher or HLTA would be expected to deliver set work and then mark in line with the school policy. Good communication and the ability to be adaptable are the cornerstones of this position.

To apply for this PPA teacher/HLTA, you will need the following:
. A valid teaching qualification or HLTA qualification.
. Previous experience of working within both Key Stage Two.
. Good subject knowledge and flexibility for different year groups.
. A commitment to a long-term role.
. DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
. Minimum of 2 excellent references required.
Responsibilities for the PPA teacher/HLTA role:
. To follow the school behaviour policy and code of conduct.
. To follow the work set out by the class teacher.
. To collaborate with and direct colleagues to meet the needs of all pupils.
. To mark work in line with the school marking policy.
. To attend meetings and CPD training that is relevant to the role.
