My client a large global financial services brand is looking for an experienced Procurement Analyst on a initial contract until year end. This role is initially based Virtual and Inside IR35.

The Contract Associate's primary responsibility is to fulfil the work flow of the Contract and Sourcing Delivery engagements including delivering the most effective strategy for achieving maximum value for the business through the contracting and sourcing processes as guided by the companies Policy for Third Party Management and established processes.

Responsibilities will at a high level, include:

Reporting to UK Contract Manager for Global Supply Management, be accountable for the cost effective procurement and contract execution of products and services while achieving or exceeding customer and business requirements
Drive value and competitive advantage to our business partners through effective management of supplier negotiations
Review and identify supplier risk and working with Third Party Risk Management teams and Business stakeholders for strong supplier governance
Identifies opportunities to add value to the business through interaction with the supply market. Creates and presents a compelling business case for change to the business stakeholders
Responsibilities include procurement activities for complex major commodities/services
Drives results cross functionally, cross business units and across the business that have a major impact on company revenue and profitability
Ensures policy and contract compliance in all strategic sourcing projects
Partner with Procurement Operations and Category Managers in procurement activities, transactions and in managing customer requests and issues
Partner with cross geographical category teams and country teams in the planning, analysing, sourcing and implementation process

Required Skills

strong procurement background in indirect strategic procurement and contract negotiations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate and develop concepts, visions and complex business requirements into workable plans
