Following recent internal changes a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Digital Communications Officer to join our busy, creative Communications Team.
The role is on full-time basis working 37 hours per week. The role will initially be home-based with options for hybrid working moving forward. However, there will be a requirement to attend meetings at our head office in Birkenhead and potentially other locations as deemed necessary to fulfil your role and complete training.
About the role
It's an exciting time to join the Magenta Living team with plenty of opportunity to showcase your digital communication skills and get involved in lots of interesting projects.
This role supports all aspects of digital communication, including keeping the Magenta Living website up to date and further enhancing its development by working with colleagues from across the business.
Oversee our social media channels ensuring they are updated with engaging content whilst continuing to increase engagement within our digital community, including customers and stakeholders. You will support colleagues within the Communications Team and across the business to create and deliver effective social media campaigns using a range of skills including writing content, creating and editing video content, photography and producing eye-catching graphics.
The role also includes acting as an 'intranet influencer' who will lead on and provide ongoing support for our intranet. A good knowledge of SharePoint would be an advantage for this role but not essential.
You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality who can evidence a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with colleagues at all levels, both internal and external. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you should be proficient in IT packages including the O365 environment.
If you are passionate about digital communications and the ever-changing social and digital landscape, an expert user of social media and someone who enjoys working with like-minded creative people, we'd love to hear from you.
