Jewellery Sales Advisor
Daniel Christopher Jewellery is a rapidly expanding high end jeweller / diamond merchant specialising in bespoke jewellery and exceptional customer service.
We are looking to add a jewellery sales advisor to our team reporting directly to our sales manager. This can be a full or part time role for the right person but please note that Saturday is a required core working day and is therefore not negotiable.
Our ethos is to educate our customers and gently steer them through the potentially daunting process of creating their dream item of bespoke jewellery.
Creating a relationship with your customer and allowing your personality to shine through in a refined and personable way is a key skill we are looking for.
Our team have been nominated for this years Retail Jewellery awards 'Team of the Year' and are hardworking, fun and dedicated to the pursuit of jewellery perfection, and while we don't like to boast we think we are the best at what we do!
What the role consists of:
Meeting and greeting your customer for in store face to face consultations
Establishing the needs of your customer in a balanced and delicate way
Assisting your customer in designing and pricing their bespoke item
Liaising with our CAD designer or workshop manager to assist in translating the customers needs, ensuring the item exceeds expectations
Procuring and organising components needed to fulfil the commission
Communicating with your customer, creating a rapport and going above and beyond to maintain our 5* rated customer service reviews
Visual merchandising in setting up window displays
Key Skills we are looking for:
Experience in Luxury Sales (jewellery preferable)
In depth diamond knowledge with a diamond qualification with GIA, Gem-A, DeBeers or similar. (Preferable but not essential - we are able to sponsor you through a course if deemed necessary)
Excellent customer communication - strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build a rapport with your customer and convey our company values in a friendly and informative way
A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
High level of personal presentation
