You'll take the lead on our global marketing strategy, delivering high impact marketing approaches that set us apart from our competitors and establish us as the market leader in international payroll. We are a small team, so this role will be hands on from day one, and will give you the chance to flex your creative muscles on building and communicating our global vision.

Client Details

My client are a well known and well respected organisation that specialise in Payroll, Global Mobility and Audit & Compliance. A true international organisation with offices in many countries around the world.

Having recently received substantial private equity backing, the new major shareholder and newly formed senior leadership team have incredibly exciting growth targets in place for the next 3-5 years, making it a very appealing time to join the company.

Description

As follows:
  • You'll have a remit to scope and define our brand identity, everything from our positioning and brand territory, to our tone of voice and USP
  • You'll define and execute a marketing strategy which actively improves the profitability, quality and quantity of the leads we get both from channel partners and direct channels
  • As guardian of the brand, you'll ensure we maintain brand integrity across all our marketing initiatives, building our credibility within the marketplace and developing strategies to ensure that we position ourselves to the needs of the customer landscape
  • Overseeing lead generation activity globally, supervising a small team and liaising with external agencies to build a robust pipeline of future customers
  • You'll write, build and oversee the creation and production of compelling marketing collateral that builds our brand and supports the work of our fantastic business development teams
  • Taking ownership of the marketing budget, you'll ensure that we deliver clear return on investment - you'll be driven by data to ensure that our marketing tech stack and external agencies (SEO and design) are delivering in line with our strategy
  • Keeping an eye on the changing market is critical, and you'll be building and maintaining market research data on our competitors, audience and market trends to inform and develop our go-to-market and sales strategies, as well as predicting future trends and proactively planning our response to the market
  • Marketing, business development, customers and partners need to be firm friends to ensure we can turn our brand and vision into new customer wins!
  • You'll work closely with our BD teams, communicating the vision and value of new products and services and developing sales tools that help get wins over the line

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in building a B2B brand across the UK and international markets, a sharp eye for detail and passion for leading successful teams. You won't be shy of rolling your sleeves up and delivering great outcomes individually, but you'll also have an eye for the strategic plan and keeping the team on course.
  • Experience in working across multiple markets internationally, with a proven track record of developing and launching impactful campaigns turning insights into future campaigns
  • Experienced marketing specialist with proven ability to convert a marketing concept into tangible commercial results
  • Experience of defining and managing lead generation activities and strategies
  • Commercially minded and nimble, able to deliver equally strongly across strategy, operation, project management and execution
  • Demonstrable experience in brand management, ideally with a track record of delivering brand transformation programmes
  • Naturally creative with a sharp eye for detail on the written word and visual design
  • Excellent relationship builder both internally and externally, able to utilise these relationships to build and develop successful projects and initiatives
  • A confident and inclusive leader of people, able to utilise the team to their strengths and supportive of their development
  • Ready and eager to take on a role which utilises your full suite of skills and experience in a fast-paced growth environment
