Electronics Engineer
Cambridge - On site
Initial 6 month contract - 18 month project in total
Inisde of IR35
£300 - £315 per day + holiday pay
One of the largest technology companies is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer. Please see below what they're looking for.
Responsibilities
Tasks cover the entire design, build, test cycle with end-to-end responsibility
Able to work independently, but actively seeks advice and guidance to improve designs
Skillset
Required:
Analogue, digital and optoelectronic design, from paper study to simulation and ECAD
Altium PCB schematic and layout
Hands on bench debugging and use of test equipment e.g. oscilloscopes, spectrum analyser, logic analyser
PCB assembly and hand soldering of surface mount componentsPreferred:
Motors and robotics
Digital electronic design, board level and HDL
Radio frequency analogue, and high speed digital
Simulation software e.g. Ansys signal integrity analysis
Microcontroller firmware for embedded applications
Higher level software for automation, integration, or demonstration (e.g. Python, C#)Required Qualifications
Demonstrable experience of the required skillsPreferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in related subject (or equivalent)
3+ years practical experience
