SEMH Teaching assistant - About the role

We are currently looking to recruit a SEMH Teaching assistant to work within a SEMH school. The SEMH teaching assistant will work regularly 1 to 1 with a child that has social, emotional, mental health difficulties and you will also work in small groups. You will assist on daily activities and help them in Maths, English and science. No two day will be the same therefore you must have good behaviour management. Previous experience working in a SEMH school would be desirable however not essential as training can be provided.

The school is in the heart of Hillingdon and there is good transport links and parking available on site. The SEMH school specialises in social, emotional, mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour. The age ranges from 11-16 years old. All students are on the EHCP.
