£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Permanent - Full time

Office based - just outside Haywards Heath (own transport essential)

A reputable, busy, growing and proactive business based just outside Haywards Heath, are looking for an ambitious, switched-on Accountant to join them on a full time permanent basis. If you are an active studier, study support (time and financial) is on offer!

You will be joining a well-established finance department, reporting into the Company Accountant, supporting him with the Management Accountants, final accounts, reporting etc. You will be part of a smaller department, getting stuck in, working closely with senior management, taking on varied duties and hit the ground running.

Working with an experienced, qualified Accountant, this opportunity offers learning and development, alongside a competitive salary and benefits!

Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring adequate and accurate records are kept using both accounts software and spreadsheets
  • Preparation of accounts
  • Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
  • Assist with Company, Employee and Director tax records and returns including P11 submission
  • Assist with annual audit and tax calculations
