We are looking for a number of C# .Net Web Developers for a 12 month contract (likely to extend).
If you are an experienced software developer, this opportunity could be the next step in your career. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and maintenance of high-quality software for new and existing systems. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of the software group platforms, processes and techniques. This role will include working on individual and group projects.
This position is based at near 15 minutes from Cambridge by road or rail.
What you will accomplish together with our client:
Contribution to the market-oriented, agile developments of our software solutions for the bioprocess using state of the art development tools and technologies of the Microsoft .NET and Web Technology Stack
Developing ideas and concepts for the implementation of new product features
Aligning applications with standards and branding requirements to provide a great user experience
You will work according to SCRUM in a self-organizing, interdisciplinary team and thus contribute significantly to the achievement of the sprint goal
What will convince the client:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science | Software Engineering or equivalent
Fluent in software development with the .NET / .NET Core Framework and the programming language C#
Strong experience in Microservice Architecture and .NET Core Web API to design and develop Restful webservices
Solid experience in using automated software build, release and test environments
Good experience in UI development with Web Frontend frameworks e.g React or Angular
Familiar with Git and the corresponding branching models using Pull Requests to ensure product quality
Knowledge in OR mappers like Entity Framework
Experience in WPF is a plus
Ideally, you are familiar with the agile frameworks for software development like SCRUM
Self-motivated
Able to work independently and within a team
Clear verbal and written communication skills
