Finance Manager EMEA - Consumer

Mapped recruitment are delighted to be partnering with global consumer business on their search for a Finance Manager. Reporting into the Head of finance managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the general ledger Accounting team
• Responsible for all group and statutory reporting
• Overseeing local compliance and controls
• Complete all assigned financial close procedures and preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts and any other required reports of European entities, Retail and E-commerce channel
• Responsible for completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure SOX / Internal Audit compliance for all European entities.
• Have an in-depth understanding of US GAAP and European local GAAP.
• Closely align and partner the with FP&A team to understand the Plan/Forecast each quarter for all retail stores
• Ensure correct lease accounting
• Work closely with Payroll manager to ensure the correct accounting treatments and internal controls on payroll transactions

Key Requirements:

• Qualified finance professional
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management and accounting.
• Have an in-depth understanding of US GAAP and European local GAAP.
• Previous experience with multi-functional and multi-currency organizations - ideally Retail / Wholesale / Consumer experience.
• Advanced Excel.
• Track record of managing statutory and regulatory compliance.

This role offers great flexible working (circa 1/2 days in the centrally located office)
