We are currently seeking a Year 3 1:1 Teaching Assistant, available from May 2022. The successful applicant will be joining an Ofsted rated outstanding school. You will be working with a SEND pupil who is working below the age-related expectation at an EYFS level (details on specific requirements of the child can be provided upon request). This is a long-term role as the child needs a consistent approach which is expected to last until the end of the academic year, you will be working closely with the SENDCo and Class Teacher at the school. There is potential for the role to be extended further and an opportunity for further training and CPD available, including an accredited safeguarding CPD qualification through Smile Education.
This school is located within proximity to Saltley, Lozells, Duddeston, Ashted and Birmingham City Centre. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet directly with our client before being appointed to the role. The expected salary range for this role is between £65-80 per day, dependent on experience level. Applicants will go through Smile Educations' quick and easy application process which includes a video interview with your dedicated consultant.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification- for example Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in School
• Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
• Able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
