Account Manager - Med Comms
Our client is a full service medical communications agency dedicated to the needs of healthcare clients who deliver scientifically accurate, visually engaging and commercially savvy communications designed for traditional and new media channels. Their clients benefit from the synergies available within their network of global offices staffed by approx. 700 in-house employees with deep therapeutic expertise. Clinical Thinking's capabilities span the spectrum of medical communications services such as: strategic planning, clinical/medical affairs support, publication planning, KOL management, scientific and editorial services, scientific visualisation and MOA, marketing communications, internal training, scientific events, exhibits, and new media.
The company's success has led to continued expansion both in the range of services they offer and its global presence. Now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Account Manager.
As an Account Manager your role will be varied and could include scientific and strategic consultation, publications planning, and management of professional relations with leading academics, organisation of satellite symposia and stand-alone meetings, and development of a range of print and digital medical education projects. You will be someone who enjoys the challenge of acquiring scientific knowledge and expertise across different therapy areas and developing excellent relationships with clients. Using your strong project management skills and scientific expertise, you will lead a team to deliver a range of services to clients.
- Must have a BSc in life sciences, ideally combined with a PhD or MSc.
- Previous experience working in a medical communications agency.
- Have experience in managing meetings (conferences, symposia, satellite meetings, events etc.)
- You should have good financial understanding and have had experience with budgeting.
- You will also be able to work well within a team and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
