We are seeking a Fundraising Assistant to join our cause.

Full Time - 35 hours per week

Permanent Contract

Salary: £21,000.00 per annum

Location: Beechcroft House, with one day per week home working required due to office closure.

This permanent role involves:

Supporter Acquisition & Stewardship

Respond to queries from the public about fundraising activities to ensure they are dealt with quickly and effectively to maximise fundraising opportunities.
Provide tailored support for community fundraisers, cultivating them to become long-term supporters of the Trust.

Fundraising Administration

Ensure the accurate creation, maintenance and updating of new and existing supporter records on the CRM database.
Assist with database administration including accurately recording and processing donations across a range of income streams.

Fundraising Development

Support the development and use of the CRM database across the Trust to capture and manage all donations, relationships, contacts and supporters.
Alongside the Fundraising Development Manager, support teams across the Trust to identify opportunities for fundraising, develop the case for support and provide engaging content.

Proven experience of building and maintaining strong relationships.
Sound experience of delivering excellent customer service or donor care.
Sound experience of working within a team and individually to achieve success.


Proficient IT skills and experience working with shared document management systems (i.e. Office 365, SharePoint and One Drive), Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.


Excellent customer service and donor care skills, including letter writing.
Ability to build rapport with others and represent the Trust externally with members of the public and with internal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Personal Qualities:

Demonstrable evidence of openness to change, flexibility and a willingness to learn new ways of doing things
Demonstrable experience of identifying, understanding and giving priority to delivering the needs of the customer and taking responsibility for providing a service that meets customers' needs.
