A leading Insurance client has a requirement for a Project Manager with Audit experience to join their London based Change function, this role will support initiatives within the Change portfolio. The portfolio has a mix of business, regulatory and IT projects. This role will manage the annual external audit process as well as other Finance and regulatory projects, from inception to closure. It will involve project management and business analysis.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
* Eight years experience of having worked in a senior project role delivering Finance and regulatory projects* A Project management/agile accreditation* Accounting qualification (Desirable)* A sound working knowledge of the Insurance industry especially the London Market* Good understanding and experience of end-to-end project delivery* Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills* Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies* Experience of working with external audit teams (Desirable)* Understanding of financial reporting processes for LSE listed organisations (Desirable)* Good knowledge of project quality management* Experience of working as part of a scrum team* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel* Proficient in PowerPoint* Good understanding of integration between multiple systems* Flexibility and ability to handle multiple initiatives, thrive in a high- pressure, fast paced environment* Effective communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills* Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories* Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes; an ability to interact with all layers of the business
