This is a really exciting Finance Assistant role. You will process both sales and purchase ledger invoices. You will reconcile supplier statement and support the finance manager with month end procedures and expenses. They will also teach you how to place orders across the company. So if your curious and have a high attention to detail this is the job for you.

Client Details

The client is a niche high tech company, with a variety of specialisms based in the Vale of Glamorgan not far from the seaside town of Barry. The client has free parking on site.


As a Finance Assistant you would have experience:
  • Of working within a busy Finance function
  • Processing of Sales and Purchase Invoice Approval and Processing
  • Processing of Expense Claims
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Placing Orders and contact with Suppliers


The successful candidate for the Finance Assistant role will:
  • Have worked on the Purchase Ledger previously
  • Ideally have worked with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Sage
  • Have manufacturing, construction or high volume invoicing experience

Job Offer

The ideal candidate will be offered:
  • £23,000-£26,000 per annum
  • Plus Holiday and Pension
  • Be Based near Barry
