Goodman Masson have partnered with a leading Financial Services business to assist with their search for an External Reporting Manager to join them in their Finance department on a fixed term contract basis.

This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of IFRS17 external reporting. The role will comprise supporting the Head of External Reporting Developments to deliver IFRS 17 external deliverables including producing analysis, reports and disclosures as required.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Production of ad hoc information, presentations or reports and provide challenge and explanation where required
  • Production of IFRS17 disclosures and analysis
  • Support production of Group Audit Committee papers
  • Manage documentation and controls in line with the companies financial reporting controls framework (FRCF)
  • Managing relevant stakeholders, such as Market finance teams, to support deliver of IFRS17 results and disclosures, engagement should be pro-active, regular and support established agreements
  • Working to tight time-frames and supporting ongoing planning
  • Working with Finance Operations and Actuarial Reporting teams as necessary

Skills & experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Experience of financial reporting close process including audit committee and board governance
  • IFRS17 knowledge preferred but not essential
