Summary of a Business Operations Manager Our client is a specialist recruitment firm looking for a Business Operations Manager to manage the day to day running of the business and ensure efficiency of all activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis from thier London base. They can offer flexible working with an expectation of 1-2 days in the London office the remainder working from home.
Responsibilities of a Business Operations Manager • Efficient management and collaboration with Singapore operations, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and reporting to the Head of Corporate Services in Singapore.• General banking, expenses, commission, client liaison, accounts receivable and accounts payable. • Manage all HR related issues, recruitment queries and all employee related tasks such onboarding new joiners, expenses, off boarding employees, HR policy.• Implement operational policies and procedures. Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed. • Grow brand awareness, growing and maximising all digital channels linked to our U.K. subsidiary.• Update and optimize our UK website and LinkedIn pages.• Manage the job adverts on Company digital channels, comply with data governance and ensure team adoption.• Work with the Company Secretary to ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.• Ensure Company database is updated accurately with all client and candidate information including compliance with all required data protection rules and regulations.• Provide monthly reports, sharing outtakes with the Management team. Taking key highlights from the previous month, including but not limited to an overview on finance, client contracts, web and social, and HR issues.• Organising company events and managing ad-hoc projects with senior management.• General administration and operational management of the U.K. office.
Key competencies of a Business Operations Manager • Previous experience working in the recruitment sector desirable• Knowledge of business & finance administration principles and practices. • Experience with QuickBooks and book-keeping desirable.• Working knowledge of website analytics and other digital and email tools desirable.• Interest in marketing and digital communications.• A respected and collaborative team player.• Action and result oriented with solid organizational skills, attention to detail.• A confident communicator with negotiation and relationship building skills.• Effective time management skills with an ability to work independently.• Working experience with databases and CRM systems.
