An excellent Secondary School in Reading is currently looking to hire a Key Stage three-four Teaching Assistant to join their team this January. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to build on their experience of working within a classroom as a Teaching Assistant. You will have the opportunity to raise academic attainment through 1:1 support for those students who need most, such as those with weak literary skills, English as a second language, and Special Education Needs.

We are currently looking for energetic enthusiastic candidates that are aspiring class teachers as successful candidate will embark on their teacher training from September 2022. As a teaching assistant working across key stages 3-4, you will work to ensure learning assignments are engaging and be proactive in providing emotional support for underperforming students. As the age group of the children range between 11-16 you will be focusing on Basic to intermediate Mathematics, English, and other curriculum subjects.

The school is based in the centre of Reading

Candidates who are enthusiastic and patient
Works well within a team and is flexible
Level 3 and higher
Graduates desirable
Good education background
Great communication skills
At least three months experience working with children ranging from childcare, tutoring, in a sports setting, or helping within a nurseryApplicant will be contracted to work for the full academic year and can expect a daily rate of £65 - £80 depending on the experience & qualifications.
