HEO Assurance Lead
Our client, are looking to recruit for a HEO level Assurance Lead to help lead and manage the assurance and approvals processes across their programme; helping deliver a new cloud-based platform for more efficient radiation monitoring in the UK.
Location: Offices based in London/Sulford. The role will be based on 40% hybrid working in the office at either location.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs
Pay Rate: £48.56 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Updating documentation, such as Integrated Assurance and Approvals Plan, Assurance POAP, action logs and other record keeping in SharePoint.
Co-ordinating Government Digital Service beta assessments with Cabinet Office and programme team to agree scope, timing, roles and responsibilities and bring together necessary parties for the assessment and any follow up required to close out beta recommendations
Preparing the programme team for the Gateway Reviews (prepare terms of reference, updates to risk potential assessments, complete any templates, manage any timelines, coordinate the Gateway across the programme) to enable an organised, well managed Gateway 4.
Acting as lead engagement point for communications with internal and external assessors.
Overall coordination of the wider assurance approach on the programme, including working with colleagues who lead on internal and organisational/regulatory assurance to ensure our approach is seamless.
Co-ordinating our implementation of any recommendations resulting from any of these assurance activities.Skills/Experience
Assurance gateway experience and audit and business case drafting experience.
Internal and External auditing experience.
Good communication skills and able to confidently advise colleagues - bring motivation and enthusiasm to the role.
Strong IT skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Outlook - ability to learn quickly how to use MS Project/MS Visio and other PPM tools.
Experience of Project Delivery in either a low to medium scale on a public or private sector project or programme.
