Are you a qualified accountant with experience in audit and a passion for leading a team? Pure are delighted to be seeking a Finance Manager to join this leading business with a great reputation. Duties include -
  • Managing a small team
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • KPIs - collating all necessary information for monthly management meetings and adapting figures accordingly
  • AR reporting
  • Completing month-end checklist - ensuring everything is completed on time and accurately
  • Review and sign bank reconciliations performed
  • Review VAT quarterly
  • Mid-month/month-end payment runs
  • Perform checks each month on balance sheet to ensure accuracy
  • Review charity statements in advance of trustee meetings
  • Central point of contact internally and externally for half and full year audits
  • Lead in preparation of draft accounts
  • Work with an external tax consultant for all data sourcing, assistance and searching for relevant information for taxes including CT, DT, PSA and R&D
  • Be main liaison with Insurance Brokers for all data sourcing and yearly renewals assistance
  • Maintain Carbon Emissions Report - update monthly and ensure all data required is up to date
  • Water usage document maintenance - looking at new ways to derive more accurate and useable data
  • Joint lead on all environmental audits
