Are you looking to work in a hugely successful Finance Team within an expanding Manufacturing Business? My client is looking to recruit a experienced Finance Assistant with Credit Control experience into the existing team. You will work very closely with the Financial Controller assisting with the day to day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Control of the credit control/sales ledger function within the business.
Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Be Proactive in recovering debts to reduce debtor dates and drive the business in the right direction
- Posting payments received to the Accounting system.
- Provide weekly reports on outstanding debts with actions taken
- Instigating and updating legal action when customers fail to pay
- Management of the Extended terms process operated by the company (this process links to the credit management system) and produce a monthly report.
- Use creditsafe to aid decisions when vetting new customers
- Produce monthly statement and distribute to customers
- Weekly update of the sales spreadsheet used for the monthly accounts
- Checking Sales Invoices/ Orders before they are sent to ensure all documents are error free
- Ensure all payments received for Deposits and After sales are invoiced
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of Finance Experience
Experience of using Microsoft office
Be able to work under pressure
Fantastic Telephone Manner and approachable
