A fantastic new opportunity as a Purchase Ledger Assistant based in Manchester. The position is a immediate start on a 6-month temporary role with an hourly pay rate between £11.50 - £12.50.

Our client is a not-for-profit company that supports the worlds finest sporting venues in the UK and provides an ideal location for more occasions. My client is the nation's largest sporting organisation and governing body. Their mission is to deliver international sporting success.
Description
The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;
Enter invoices onto financial software daily
Ensure data that is entered is accurately coded and authorised
Prepare and process weekly and monthly BACS payments to suppliers
Process Direct Debit and PayPal payments
Ensure up to date records of suppliers are in line with requirements of Procedures
Support with outstanding supplier payment queries
Resolve queries and liaise with appropriate colleagues
Reconcile suppliers statements to purchase ledger balances

The successful candidate must possess the following skill set and experience;

Experience working in a Finance environment
Able to meet deadlines and adapt to situations in an effective manner
Background of Purchase Ledger / Credit Control
Good communication skills, written and verbally
IT Literate
Excellent numeracy skills
Data Accuracy
Ability to learn and work with new technology and financial systemsJob Offer
