The Strategic Account Manager is a high profile and senior role within the business and will suit someone that is looking to join a fast-paced and agile organisation.

Your key responsibility is to be the strategic lead of AA Prestige for a portfolio of Major Accounts across the Leasing, Fleet Management and Major Fleet sectors, with revenue streams of more than £20m pa and minimum levels of gross margin percentages.

You will be responsible for retaining and growing profitable, long-term relationships with clients, through the co-ordination and measurement of internal department performance, represented in a clear and coherent way to clients, so that contract performance against expected service levels is at an acceptable level. As strategic lead, you will be well known to client stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including senior Managers, the Board and Managing Directors.

This is a senior, high-profile role within AA Prestige, with exposure to other AA Brands. With a combination of commercial leadership and indirect management of customer service delivery functions, contract management, profit & loss accountability, contracted SLA & KPI performance and combined service deliverables.

What will I be doing?

* Deliver contract performance and profitability on a portfolio of major accounts

* Develop and work with a team across various AA Prestige functions and senior management levels to deliver contractual obligations

* Collaborate strategically with AA stakeholders across other B2B and AA Roadside functions, to ensure client retention, growth and new business success is delivered with a combined view of the wider AA organisation and its commercial value

* Support the on-boarding of new strategic accounts by delivering defined, clear and successful on-boarding & implementation projects

* Ensure supply-chain partners have a set of expectations that are clearly defined and understood by internal and external stakeholders, to support successful client outcomes

* Manage the interface between strategic clients and AA Prestige teams to support successful operational processes and outcomes

* Develop strong internal (AA) & external (client) business relationships, up to CEO.

* Conduct appropriately periodic meeting programmes (internal and external) to review detailed performance metrics, that support areas of improvement and growth opportunities

* Support ad-hoc new business opportunities and tenders
