Interim contract to start immediately until January 2023 (9-month role)
East of England
Band 8A
Hybrid working opportunity available, as well as Trust accommodation
£31.73 per hour (can negotiate based on experience)
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

A fantastic opportunity to work for a large Acute NHS Trust in the East of England and support their division of Medicine to deliver high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare services. As the Transformation Manager, you will be reporting to the Divisional Operations Director and supporting the new Senior Business Manager to drive transformation and deliver projects within both Elective and Non-elective care pathways.

Your duties as the Transformation Manager- Medicine:

Support the Division in the delivery of operational performance and financial improvement planning to continually improve the quality of services to patients by using best practice standards within the available income as well as contributing to the Divisional and Trust strategy, processes, and policies.
Lead in the planning and delivery of transformation projects within both Elective and Non-elective care pathways.
To support with the delivery of CIP and to lead in the planning and delivery of transformation projects across the Medicine division.
Working with 2 senior operations managers to assist the division to transform the flow of patients through the Trust and ensure effective discharge.
Minimum of 3 days a week working onsite, 2 days from home (Trust accommodation available).

Experience needed as the Transformation Manager- Medicine:

Has experience working within an Acute NHS setting.
Proven track record of planning and delivering transformation projects, as well writing business cases and engaging with procurement.
Experience of managing and motivating a team and reviewing performance of individuals.
Ability to work autonomously with good attention to detail.
Someone who has potentially worked across Business and Performance, has experience with Demand and Capacity, can translate the analytics of the Division to be able to produce clear and defined Business cases that support future Cost Improvements within the Division.
