Stock Controller
K.A.G are excited to bring to you a new challenging opportunity for a Stock Controller to join an independent frozen seafood supplier to join our client based in Liverpool.
Role: Stock Controller
Salary: Upto 25,000.00 DOE
Location: Liverpool
Hours of work: 07.00 - 15.30
Purpose of the role:
The Stock Controller will have experience of warehouse management systems and use these skills to manage incoming stock requirements as well as finished goods despatch to both inter-company and third party destinations. You will be responsible for calling in packaging from storage, ensuring just in time supply to production.
Duties:
* Packaging Stock transfers - In and out of Sefton, and into Edwards.
* General (RM/FG) Stock transfers - In & out of Sefton.
* Raw Material / Finished Goods / Map Stock Reconciliation.
* Packaging call off from Edwards - In accordance with daily plan.
* Packaging call off from suppliers to Edwards/Sefton - In accordance with Monthly plan.
* Monitoring packaging shortages using MRP forward forecast - Raising Po's for new orders.
* Advising Packaging Buyer and planning of any packaging shortfalls for monthly plan.
* Input of production completions into ERP system - When support is needed.
* Raising Po's for Misc. packaging - Maintaining minimum stock holdings
* Generating new codes for packaging.
* Advising Packaging Buyer of slow moving packaging lines.
* Advising Packaging Buyer of Defect packaging.
* Goods receipting for packaging items
* Advising Packaging Buyer of supplier goods in delivery damages
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator both written and verbal with exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to work efficiently and to agreed timescales.
You will have strong administration skills and a strong working knowledge of Excel with the ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.
You will also ideally have previous experience of working within a Manufacturing based environment and a strong understanding of "What goods looks like" in a warehouse environment
