Are you a skilled Commercial Real Estate Manager looking to rise to a new challenge?

Pepper Advantage UK is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Commercial Real Estate Manager with proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration in a commercial loan focused environment.

As a Commercial Real Estate Manager, your responsibility will be to develop, mentor and motivate the Commercial Real Estate Team to provide outstanding servicing facilities in line with client expectations, and to manage a portfolio of connections (including reviewing, implementing and monitoring case strategies). This will include providing operational support for the implementation of approved case strategies, monitoring the portfolio on a daily basis for any borrower deviation from approved arrangements, escalating as appropriate and maintaining Management Information, while ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with control policies

You will become part of a well-established team which is a core part of Pepper's operations and will receive ample support to be successful in your role.

As a Commercial Real Estate Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Leading CRE Primary & Special servicing
Managing a team of Specialists
Delivering positive customer outcomes and managing the credit risk associated with loan level decisions
Overseeing compliant and robust processes through actively managing internal processes and third parties
Ensuring that service levels are met and adhering to the agreed policies and procedures
Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards
Interacting with other managers to provide project management expertise to deliver change
Considering TCF in all aspects of strategic planning
Developing strategy for dealing with delinquent loans according to best practice techniques and changes to the regulatory environment
Assessing loan workout options at account level and then entering into dialogue with the customer to discuss the options and determine the best outcome
Working closely with third parties to obtain up to date drive-by/desktop valuations where appropriate
Attending governance meetings, including preparation of agendas and documenting actions
Keeping up to date with government initiatives relating to arrears and litigation and recommending changes to strategy where requiredWe welcome applications from candidates with any of the following skills or attributes: Loan Administrator, Account Management, Loan Management, Customer Service, Management, Mortgage, Commercial Loans, Commercial Real Estate

Essential Skills

We're looking for a candidate who has prior exposure to operational loan management, who can consistently deliver outstanding customer service and has a rudimentary understanding of relevant regulation and associated legislative policy and the impact this has on the role, particularly as they relate to loan and mortgage products.

The candidate should show competency in the following areas:

Insolvency/Collections - The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for the benefit of debt collection.
Legal & Compliance - The ability to understand and utilise legislative requirements for the benefit of the organisation.
IT Knowledge - The ability to understand and utilise technology to achieve required position outcomes.
Risk - The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation.
Customer Service and Commercial Awareness - The drive to understand, agree and satisfy customer requirements (internal & external) and deliver a high-quality service to them. Also, an awareness of the commercial impact of what you do.Desirable Skills
