IT Manager

ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a Global IT Service company, assisting them with the search for a number of Network Managers on a contract basis for a project in Birmingham.

The successful candidates will act as the senior point of contact for escalation and resolution of Telecoms related issues, alongside the other Managers. Also responsible for the delivery of all Fixed and Mobile Telecoms products and services required on the project.

Skills & experience required:
Strong Management or Team Leader skills, including motivational and people management
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the following:
- WAN circuit delivery
- LAN networking - including switches, access points (wireless and physical), fibre and copper installations, etc.
- IP telephony
Though this is a management/team leader role, previous 'hand on' experience in delivering telecoms and networking technology is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills
Experience of working in a live operational support environment, including the resolution of incidents

Location - Birmingham
Duration - 6 months
Contract - Inside of IR35
