Senior Analyst Programmer (Java) required. This hugely successful Fintech (an international payments provider / banking) seeks an experienced Java software engineer to join their London-based core development team. Work focuses on the on-going development for their award-winning payments platform and will see you working in an Agile environment, utilising a range of skills.
Senior Java Developer - the role:
This exciting role involves development duties surrounding a very complex financial services system that is growing and developing all the time. Working in an Agile environment, across the full SDLC, with a range of internal and external stakeholders, this role covers:
- General code enhancement
- Testing and documentation
- Tool development and process evaluation and introduction
- Maintenance and deployment
- Keeping ahead of technologies trends in the industry
Senior Java Developer - the Candidate:
The client is keen to secure an experienced developer who has strong Java experience, but who is versatile and can work across various areas, be it the back-end or front-end. Someone who understands the fundamentals of how software systems work and how they hang together. You will need good creativity and problem solving abilities, and have an understanding of more than just frameworks.

- Strong Java (Core, Concurrency - multithreading)
- Spring MVC Restful
- Messaging, asynchronous programming
- UI frameworks - AngularJS, Angular2

The client will provide full product training, but requires a very experienced, well-rounded developer for this level of position. Salary depending on experience, £75k-£90k.
