Sr. Business Product Manager for Advanced Service Analytics - Lab Insights Customer Area, Roche Information Solutions (RIS)

Role Purpose

As the Sr. Business Product Manager for Advanced Service Analytics(ASA), you will be a member of the Laboratory & Point-of-Care Operations International Business Team. This is a critical role to ensure the success of our purpose with the Advanced Service Analytics program..

Under the overall lead of the International Business Leader for Lab & POC Operation, the Sr. Business Product Manager will work within the ASA product teams to jointly execute on product strategy and own the holistic product vision and delivery within our organization.

This position will have an overall responsibility towards fostering collaboration and managing stakeholders with an aim to drive the evolution of predictive and proactive services as well as the adoption of these services in all markets that Roche is active in.

You will be responsible for...

  • Fostering collaboration across the team of product managers by providing functional leadership
  • Is responsible for the strategic roadmap of ASA in cooperation with the GSLT
  • Managing stakeholders at a senior level across GCS, Customer Areas, Spare Parts organization, Regional Hubs and Affiliate service organizations
  • Coordinating cross activity work streams across product and stakeholder teams
  • Representing ASA in the overall Service Business Model framework, drives the required change management across various service organizations in order to foster the uptake of the ASA offering.
  • Represent ASA to our partners as well as to our own R&D teams
  • Drive the adoption of 'proactive/predictive maintenance by design' model in the various system projects
  • Ensure the long-term institutionalization of capabilities around 'proactive/predictive maintenance by design'

As a Sr. Business Product Manager for Advanced Service Analytics, you bring:

  • +5 years of experience in the area of Technical Service & Customer Support, with a flair for digital solutions in this space. Experience in In-vitro Diagnostics would be a plus.
  • +2 years of leading high performing cross-functional teams in a regional or global setting
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, health sciences, computer science or related discipline required.
  • Some experience with predictive models, data science and commercialization
  • Demonstrated advanced communication skills for facilitating and leading meetings, negotiating conflicting interests, managing group dynamics, and encouraging collaborative thinking cross functionally up to and including executive management.
  • Must be viewed as a decisive leader and be able to act independently in the face of ambiguity. Driver personality, constantly push towards clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.
  • Personally motivated, creative thinker and accountable team player. Demonstrated ability to respectfully provide and receive feedback
  • Experience in working with complex data & technical documentation with an ability to connect the dots in the context of service analytics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Consistent record of building collaborative relationships with peers and teams and proven ability to foster and build important relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Able to foster positive partnerships through effective influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization and to drive change management.
  • Experience of product development processes and methodologies (for agile software development)

You can be based in Switzerland, Germany, Spain or the UK

At the Company's discretion, an exception to the location requirement could be made under extraordinary circumstances.

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
