Engineering Assembly Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Engineering Assembly Technician for our client who are a highly reputable UK leader in the design and manufacturing of specialised/bespoke components for the Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Aerospace industries.

As the Engineering Assembly Technician, you will be: -

• Assembling various components using a variety of machines and hand tool, to high standard of build quality.
• Carry out functional tests to ensure the good are correct and in full working order prior to despatch.
• Maintain stock of parts to ensure there are no delays to the build.
• Assisting in the on-time delivery of the company's products.
• Provide off-site customer support - whilst not required on a frequent basis, technicians are sometimes required to assist customers with training on products at their premises.
• Always maintain and comply with Health & Safety rules and regulations.

The successful Engineering Assembly Technician will have the following skills/experience: -

• Must have a recognised apprenticeship or other qualification within a Mechanical or Engineering discipline.
• Must have hands-on Engineering experience.
• Ability to work from technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and manual machines i.e., pillar, drill, lathe, and mill.
• Excellent eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills.

Salary £30,000 + overtime

Core Hrs Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30hrs
