I am currently working with a multinational retail business who are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join their EMEA Treasury team. Reporting into the Head of Front Office, this role will focus on the forecasting needs of the European business and take full ownership of consolidating, analysing and presenting figures into Senior Management.

Working in a highly collaborative environment, this role will work closely with other areas of the treasury team and the wider core finance divisions and is a pivotal role in the EMEA businesses ability to predict it's medium to long term cash positions.

Brief overview of role:
  • Consolidation and preparation of long term cash forecasts for European entities
  • Collecting and interpreting large data sets and distilling information into presentable and meaningful format
  • Working closely with wider department to ensure cashflow is succinct with shorter term forecasts
  • Variance analysis; actuals, forecasts and budgets
  • Building financial models to drive efficiency and standardisation across treasury team
  • Responsibility for quarterly in-depth analysis to highlight both opportunities and risks
  • Close collaboration with the wider team on projects

To be considered:
  • 3+ years experience in a forecasting focused role
  • Highly analytical and ability to keep up with constant change across businesses geographies
  • Demonstrable business partnering and collaboration skills
  • Happy to work across the wider team/share work when necessary
  • Strong excel and financial modelling skills
  • Knowledge of Hyperion/TM1 useful
