LMS Project Manager- Bath
£30/h

The primary purpose of this post is to Project manage the development and implementation of our Corporate Learning Management System for Bath and North East Somerset Council. The LMS will be simplified, streamlined, fully compatible with our existing systems, improved information giving and reporting capabilities as well as signposting. The project will meet current accessibility and security standards.

We have already procured an LMS and the Project Manager will be responsible for developing the system and integrating it with the Council's payroll system. The post holder will need to have specialist knowledge of Learning Management System functionality and interfaces, and able to hit the ground running to take this project over the finish line.

This project forms part of the Council's Preparing for the future and Digital Programme and will provide a seamless front end through which employees and partner organisations are able to access learning and development. Managers will also be able to access real time reports to confirm details about mandatory training and recertification. Existing content will be reviewed and re-written as necessary (this work will be managed in conjunction with our external partners - Learning Pool and the IT Systems team who manage our iTrent system).

.Key Responsibilities of the Interim LMS Project Manager:
* Support the next steps in the implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) including integration with other systems and/or processes
* Manage relationship with vendor
* In collaboration with the Project Sponsor, work with others in the OD team and coordinate, lead the associated workstreams and review project progress, and agree issues requiring escalation
* Plan and run design and configuration workshops involving the OD team and other key stakeholders
* Deliver required training to support introduction of new solution and/or processes
