Have you recently graduated and are looking for your first teaching position?

We are seeking a PPA Cover Teacher(QTS) to start in a large Primary School in the Walton area ASAP.

This three form entry primary school inthe Walton areais looking for a PPA cover Teacher (QTS) to take responsibility for covering PPA across the whole school. The school is open to both NQTs/ECTs and experienced teachers for this position. The school is able to offer support for those looking to complete their induction period.

This school works closely with the local community and regularly engages with community events. The school is looking for a teacher who is able to fully engage with this ethos and work to continually promote this.

This school has 540 pupils on roll and also has a nursery with a further 87 pupils.

This school has been rated GOOD (2018) by OFSTED.

We are looking for:

A Primary Teacher (QTS) who is able to take on the responsibility of a class teacher. You will be required to plan, deliver, and assess pupils in line with the National Curriculum (2014) and the schools policies across the school. Alongside this you will also receive the opportunity to partake in CPD, Parents Evenings, sports days and school trips.

You must be willing to support the christian ethos of the school.

This position is suitable for both ECT's/NQTs and experienced teachers (Upto UPS3).

Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following criteria:

Hold a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply)

Have a flexible, can-do approach

Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible (all employment breaks must be explained)

Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process

Provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years

Have legal right to work in the UK

A proven track record of promoting excellent outcomes with pupils
