Are you an experienced Project Accountant ready to add value to a large organisation? Are you an expert in using financial modelling to support complex business cases? Do you want to work on a variety of projects with a focus on IT implementations?

My client is a large UK charity that is forecasting a significant amount of change in the coming months and years, particularly in a number of their key systems. As a result, they are now looking for an interim Project Accountant on an initial 3-6 month basis, to:
  • Review existing business case templates and identify areas for change and improvement
  • Work with the PMO function to provide business cases for numerous upcoming projects, primarily in the IT space
  • Work with the project leads to understand the projects, their costs, and the formatting of the financial model that is necessary to adequately support proposals
  • Provide substantial business case modelling that will inform strategic decision-making surrounding new IT technology such as finance systems and the CRM.
  • Support the Finance Director in presenting business cases to the Board by creating reliable output from expertly crafted Financial Models.

This would be a great opportunity for someone with substantial experience supporting business cases and business proposals through high level financial models. This role can be performed completely remotely.

To be considered, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Be a fully qualified accountant or QBE with substantial experience in comparable roles
  • Have strong experience using financial modelling to support businesses in the preparation of business cases, ideally IT business cases
  • Ideally be from a public sector or Charity background.

This role is moving quickly so please don't delay your application!
