Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a small local charity, in their search for an experienced all round Finance Assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis, based in their offices near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all the day to day transactional duties for the charity, duties typically include:

Sales Ledger - raising sales invoices, cash allocation and credit control
Purchase Ledger - Processing purchase invoices, arranging payment of suppliers and deal with queries
Cash and Banking - daily banking and recording of income, petty cash and client's monies
Financial Accounts - Monthly accruals and prepayments
Supporting the Senior Finance Manager with month end management accounts preparation and year end statutory accounts
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

Proven track record in a similar small business background
IT Literate - Ideally Sage 200, Microsoft Excel
Able to work unsupervised using own initiative
Dynamic and energetic person, who is a team player
Although this role starts on a temporary basis, there is the strong possibility of becoming permanent after 3 months. The client is also happy to consider hybrid working (although 3 days in the office will be the minimum, and ideally 4 days during the initial few weeks during the handover period)
